Scottish Bannocks Or Oatcakes

Oatcakes are very good with fish, especially herrings, either smoked or fresh, with raw onions and butter. Oatcakes also served with soups, butterĀ­milk, or with jam, honey or marmalade for breakfast. In Scotland they were traditionally known as Scottish Bannocks.
